Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP)

• THE NATIONAL DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAMME

  Under the National Digital Literacy Programme, MOE will introduce the Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) for all students in secondary schools. Under the PDLP, every secondary school student will own a school-prescribed personal learning device (PLD) by end of 2021.

  The PDLP will allow students to use the PLDs in tandem with the Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) to personalise and enhance their learning. The PDLP will also better enable students to acquire digital skills and apply these skills as they navigate an increasingly digitalised world. The PLDs will also be used to facilitate an environment that encourages personalised learning.

• INSURANCE COVERAGE & WARRANTY
  The package includes a 3-year warranty and 3-year insurance**\*** which includes:

  - Fire - Lightning - Power Surges - Accidental e.g. water spillage, drop etc - Theft due to forcible entry - Robbery * Accidental loss will not be covered by insurance	2 repairs or 1 replacement (3-year insurance)

• DEVICE SUPPORT & INSURANCE CLAIMS
  Parents /Students may rely on the following platforms if they need support or insurance claims for their devices

  • Contractor’s Helpdesk (Phone /email).
  • Contractor’s Service Centre.

  Lost /Damaged Device

  • In the event that the device is lost or damaged beyond economical means to repairs, a police report or service report must be provided for the procurement of a replacement device.

  This fault reporting form allows you to make a report for two main categories of faults:

• AV / ICT REQUEST FORM
  

  This fault reporting form allows you to make a report for two main categories of faults:

  • [FOR STUDENTS and STAFF] Facilities management (FM) faults.
  • [FOR STUDENTS and STAFF] Account Enable / Password Reset*.
  • [FOR STAFF ONLY] AV Support/Equipment (Ad-hoc Microphone Request, Portable Projector & Others).
  • [FOR STAFF ONLY] ICT Support/Equipment (Software Installation** & Ipad/Laptop Loan).
  • [FOR STAFF ONLY] Livestream

  *Password shall be reset to the following:

  • At least 12 characters long but 14 or more is better.
  • A combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Not a word/number that can be found in your I/C and birthday (includes your own name).
  • Significantly different from your previous passwords.

  Student PLD Information Kindly bring your PLD to ICT department at Level 2 Staffroom for assessment.
